## How the science works

- **Genotyping platform**: high-density SNP microarray (~700k markers) on Illumina hardware in an ISO 15189–certified Indian lab.
- **Imputation**: in-house imputation pipeline expands the array to ~30M well-calibrated SNPs using a population-aware reference panel.
- **Ancestry algorithm**: supervised admixture model with ~75 South Asian + global ancestral components, anchored on archaeology-aware reference clusters (IVC, Steppe, AASI, Iran-N, etc.).

## Sample collection + turnaround
