Delete your Helixline account & data
You have the right to request deletion of your account, reports, raw genotype file and all linked personal data. We process every request within 30 days, in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What gets deleted
- Account profile (name, email, phone, address, photo)
- Order, payment and shipment records associated with you
- DNA reports — ancestry, health traits, pharmacogenomics
- Raw genotype file (~654,000 markers)
- DNA-match links to other relatives
- Notification history and active sessions
What we must retain (and why)
- Tax invoices — 8 years, per CGST Rule 56(1)
- Payment audit trail — anonymised; retained as required by RBI / Razorpay reconciliation
- Aggregated, non-identifiable statistics — used for population genetics research; cannot be re-linked to you
How it works
- Submit the form below or email grievance@helixline.in.
- We email a verification link to the address on file (so nobody else can request deletion of your account).
- You confirm; we erase your data and email a deletion receipt.
- Total turnaround: ≤ 30 days Acknowledgement: ≤ 24 hours
